So simple and quick. These are very good. Take them into work or enjoy them with an afternoon tea.
Prep
- Preheat oven to 190ºc/ 375ºf/gas 5. Cream butter and sugar together till light and white. Beat the egg in gradually. Add vanilla.
- Add sifted flour and semolina. Mix with a fork. Pull Dough into a smooth ball. Roll it out thinly (3mm) on a lightly floured surface. Cut into rounds with a cutter/glass.
Cook
- Bake on a greased tray for 10 minutes or till just coloured. Cool for 3 minutes. Use a spatula to slide onto a rack. Once cooled top with melted chocolate. Eat when set.
