Alternative Christmas Puddings

Nobody has ever said the part of Christmas dinner they’re looking forward to the most is the dry little lump of flamed dark matter at the end, otherwise referred to as ‘christmas pudding’. Throw it on the fire and get the pud done properly.

Christmas is about family and feasting, so why not show your family how much you love them with the gift of a pudding they’ll actually want to eat, so is perfect to give to your parents while if you want to give something to your uncle there are a great list of Uncle gifts you can find online. And keep eating until you’re all snoozing at your place to the sweet symphony of over-exerted trouser buttons pinging off into the tableware.

Chocolate Roulade Recipe

This is one of the jobs i delegate on Christmas day, my brother will be delicately transporting this down from his place as his contribution to the christmas feast. It’s incredibly delicious, a light chocolate sponge filled with lightly whipped cream. You can stuff it with any fruit you wish, my preference is the sweet tang of raspberry. Top with a gaggle of santas or get fancy with your icing sugar.

Raspberry Ripple Cheesecake

This is a stunning centrepiece pudding. Stick it in front of your family and prepare for the “oohs’ and ‘ahhhhs”. Raspberry swirls through a creamy baked new york cheesecake with a crisp, buttery biscuit base.
